What is home content value?
Not everyone is aware of what is meant by home content value. The simplest way is to say that it is the value of what you take with you when you move. Home content does include e.g. flooring or interiors.

When our consultants ask what the value of the home content is, there can be a lack of answers. We do not realize the value of our home content until we go through it room by room. Over time, there will also be changes in the family´s properties. The family grows bigger, we move to a bigger house, we get presents and as time goes on, we often acquire more expensive things. It is, therefore, necessary to regularly review the value of the home content.
The Family Protection´s insurance certificate states the amount for which the home content is insured. On the certificate, it is called the insurance amount. It is important that this amount is fairly correct, otherwise, it is not certain that full compensation will be obtained in the event of damage.
